Krilo Company adds a new ferry line connecting Split and Dubrovnik, now via Bol on Brač and Makarska!
Krilo Eclipse fast boat is a new addition to the Krilo fleet, which is already well-known in Dubrovnik for connecting it with Split in a hassle and border-free way. Krilo Eclipse is a trimaran with almost 500 seats, and is scheduled to start its operation on the new route between Dubrovnik and Split on June 12, 2017. The journey between the two Croatian hotspots will last 4.5 hours, stopping at Bol on Brač island, Makarska, Korčula on Korčula Island and Sobra on Mljet.
Long cumbersome to combine, these destinations are now within an easy reach from both Split and Dubrovnik. The new line is planned to run every day of the week during the peak summer season, with operations starting mid-June and ending mid-September.
In addition to making island hopping in South Dalmatia easier than ever, Krilo Eclipse schedule can also accommodate day trippers who wish the explore the islands from Split. Departing Split at 7:30 in the morning, Krilo Eclipse will arrive to its final destination, Dubrovnik, at noon and start its return voyage at 4pm. The boat ride between individual destinations typically lasts between 30 minutes and one hour, with the longest distance between Makarska and Korčula Island covered in 65 minutes. In Dubrovnik, the tickets are available at Dubrovnik Travel Corner – AVANSA Travel shop, located just across the street from the Krilo arrival/departure dock. With luggage storage and an Internet corner, Dubrovnik Travel Corner is a good option for a stress-free departure.
